Shunned and it's not a religious thing!

Can you repair a bad reputation in a small town? I told my neighbor about an affair I had in 2004 when it was happening. She told people many rumors even including that I had slept with her her husband which is not true. She works for the school district so all the teachers know. Everytime I'm seen talking to any other parents the next time I see them they will not talk to me the silent bullying is so bad that I have to drive 45 minutes to a different School district. which really sucks because my son's school is literally two blocks from my house. And moving is not an option for me. And I can't sue her because I don't have any proof. I would like some advice on what would you do in this situation how would you fight back!
