How much would you charge your friend??

My friend has a little girl she’s a month old and asked me if I could babysit Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm. I have a 6 month old daughter as well. How much would you charge her? She asked me but I honestly have no idea

I would probably be doing this for a year.

Are you comfortable making your region’s minimum wage? Personally I would ask for more than minimum wage, depending on my friend’s financial situation. What would you charge if she were a stranger or acquaintance? Would you give her a 20% friends and family discount lol?

If it’s a permanent thing then probably £50-70 per week since it’s a friend. If it’s a one off week I’d only ask for like £10-£20 to help cover any extra costs but tbh I probably wouldn’t ask for anything and do it as a favour but it depends on your financial situation.

If it’s just a one off I wouldn’t charge, just ask her to give you some money if your taking them out. Friends help each other out. But I guess if it’s a permanent thing then I’d charge as little as possible if it was my friend
