I personally have an anxiety disorder. It definitely caused some tension in my relationship but he’s done nothing but encourage me to seek help and work towards bettering myself. He is the one that encouraged me to to schedule my first counseling appointment. It’s been about 6 months since then and I’m doing so much better and my anxiety is no longer putting such a strain on my relationship. I still occasionally have episodes and freak-outs, but it’s no where near what it used to be.

Are they actively being treated and taking the proper medication/keeping in touch with a counselor to monitor their condition? If so, yes. But if left unchecked and untreated, no. I can’t be responsible for an adult Who does not want to help him/herself. That’s not a partner it’s a parent and it’s not fair to either party

My SO does, and I’m hardly going to stop loving him because of it. It just makes me more aggressive in making sure he KNOWS I love him and taking care of him when given the opportunity. (I’m normally a shy person)
