Do you believe accidental "love yous" are a mistake?

In a message about things he likes about me, "Yes, love you and ..." Then when I asked him if he proofread his message before sending. He backed out like a jet plane saying instead he has strong feelings for me but love he isn't sure.. he loves everybody apparently.
Been together for 7-8months!

Maybe he felt embarrassed whenever you asked if he read the msg before sending it so he took it back?

Not in a text message. But in person sure because it can become habit of saying it.
 I've almost walked up behind someone and said something inappropriate that I only say with my boyfriend because I'm so used to saying it

7-8 months is still a short amount of time for “I love you” for some people. Maybe your response wasn’t what he was hoping for (maybe he was being sly and thought you’d say u love him too) and then backtracked real fast to avoid potentially being rejected. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
