will I still be admitted to colleges?

Question

Hi so, I got a 16 on the ACT test
(I’m going to retake it soon) I also have a 3.46 GPA. Can I still get accepted to good colleges?
Also I have taken 3 ap classes, 2 other college classes and debate. I’m also debate captain. Could that increase my chance of getting into a good college??? IM SCARED! 😰

I never took the ACT and my GPA was slightly lower than yours and I didnt have any AP classes because my school didnt provide them, and I got into several schools.  It wont get you into Harvard but I'd say you have a decent chance. You can always retake for a better score

Colleges literally do not care about AP classes; as far as they’re concerned, if you didn’t take it for college credit it doesn’t count. As for your ACT, that’s a little low, but your GPA is good for admissions. I would retake the ACT or take the SAT and see what you get. If you’re looking at in state universities, you’ll be fine, but if you’re looking at out of state or private universities, definitely get that test score up

Can you study and retake the ACT?  Admittedly that’s pretty bad...the average is 20.  But with all the other stuff you’ve done that might negate the score.  Still definitely take it again if you can.  I got a good ACT score (28) so that has pretty much negated my terrible GPA (2.1) and no extracurricular activities.  If you can get a better score you’ve basically got it set for a good college
