Is this a date?

This is probably really dumb lol, but i asked out this girl to the homecoming dance and tbh i can’t tell if she thinks it’s a date or not.

When i asked her she went, “For real??” and i went, “Yeah” and she got really excited, then she was like “omg and my mom will let you sleep over because you’re not a boy!!”

like i want it to be a date because i’m into her but (and i’m probably just overthinking it) i can’t tell how she feels
