Period after first baby, how was your expierence?

I’m almost 5 months PP with my first and I didn’t get my period yet. My body is kinda telling me that I might but I’m not sure! I feel miserable. Are periods after a baby bad? I’m not on any birth control.

I got mine 5 weeks PP and it wasn’t bad at all, felt like a normal period with some cramps here and there

My periods after having my son are so much worse than before. I bleed so heavy now

My mom used to get awful periods and said they weren’t bad at all anymore after she had a baby! She said they were like barely uncomfortable, when prior to having a baby they had been horrible.
