How much do you get pumping after feeding?

LO is 2 weeks old he only ate on one side for about 15 mins so I pumped afterwards and made 40ML both breasts combined. Is that enough for after a feeding?

Answer

It’s different for everyone and every baby and varies greatly by age as well. Just be careful when baby starts to cluster feed so that you’re not pumping too much during this process. Not pumping too much will allow your baby to establish your supply and give you the ability to keep up with your baby’s demands.
