So we decided to tell my in laws today that we are expecting a May 2020 Baby. After dinner we sat everyone down and before my husband even opened his mouth both of my sister in laws stole his moment and said very bluntly "oh you're gonna be a dad?" Anyhow when he was ready to announce he did, and the reaction was awful. I got no hug, there was no emotion it was so sad. To help feel better we called my parents right away and their reaction was beautiful. We already have a name chosen for both and one of the sister in laws kept throwing awful names guys like I'm talking awful! Anyhow, did anyone else go through this? This is my first baby and I felt very alone. Btw we live with my in laws time being.
