Bi-Weekly to Weekly Appointments

I know it’s common at 36weeks to transition from the Bi-Weekly to the Weekly prenatal ob appointments in most pregnancies.

With my 1st baby; he had a false positive on his genetics test and we were referred to see a 2nd ob for “high risk pregnancy,” as we saw the 2nd ob we also saw my primary ob all the way through til 40weeks

At 32weeks however I was seeing the “high risk pregnancy ob” weekly and still only saw my regular ob bi-weekly.

This pregnancy, my 2nd, my little has been healthy and has no issues so I’ve only been seeing my primary ob for prenatal visits.

I’m currently 2 days away from being 36weeks. An I was told to start scheduling my weekly appointments. Although when I called to schedule them the only thing my ob has open was this upcoming Tuesday a morning appointment, which I wouldn’t be able to make to because of the drive and not being able to give enough notice to my SO work for him to take me. ((I currently don’t have a license)- needs renewed)

But after that Tuesday he has nothing for the next 2 1/2 weeks. All in all he’s on vacation til the 2nd week of October.

He did mention that he thinks I maybe measuring a week early but it could be where the baby was positioned and for now he’s leaving my due date the 22nd.

Should I see a different ob while he’s gone Or wait til he gets back?
