I’ve been working overtime on getting our budget under control. We’ve had to help family out and take on the financial burden from it. It’s now getting better... slowly.

Every. Single. Time. We have a chunk over extra money to put towards the burden or God willing, savings. My husband decides that when he wants something. It’s never something little either. NOPE. It’s couple hundred dollars in multiple small purchases. I’ve talked and talked with him. Always in a calm voice so I’m not escalating the situation. He says he’ll be more careful each time. Now he wants to take out a loan to help with the burden. I don’t want to take out a loan because it’s not going to help anything.

I feel like I’m drowning.
