Is noone else anxious!?

Question

I'm a FTM, 39 weeks tomorrow.
Been watching everyone trying to hurry their little ones to arrive early and I've been reading like 'what's wrong with me?', why do I need/want more time. 
Not just the pain, although that's definitely part of it, it's the unknown of when/where will it start, how will I cope, etc etc
Am I really the only one not in a rush to meet my baby?!

I started maternity leave Monday at exactly 39 weeks. I actually wanted some time off to relax and sleep, things you can’t do with a newborn...or on the weekends when you have a toddler. So I completely understand how you feel. Physically, I’m actually feeling pretty good aside from fatigue, which makes waiting easy. However, part of me is starting to get nervous that he’ll come too late and I’ll have to be induced 😟

I was this way with both of my pregnancies. I wanted my babies to stay in as long as possible, no matter how miserable I got. My boys were born at 39+5 and 39+6, and I'm so glad they waited. I needed the full 40 to really prepare myself. Lol.

I’m 100% worried I’ll start laboring while teaching. I teach first grade and don’t want to traumatize them. But I don’t have extra days to take to be off already so I’m taking my chances. 😅 I want him to be here but do not want to start laboring at work.

I’m 40 weeks today and I feel conflicted. I want him to come but know that he’ll do do when he’s ready. I am scared of labor and what life will be like with a little one... so I get it!
