Hello, please bear with me as this might be confusing. On the 12 we went to the er when I started having some pretty intense abdominal pain, I had found out we were pregnant a few days prior so we just thought it best to get checked.

After hours of waiting and asking in the room I had finally asked what my blood results came back as. I had a low HCG level of 764 and when they did the ultrasound they said they didn’t seem anything in my uterus but what they thought was a gestational sack in my right ovary. So, they diagnosed an ectopic pregnancy. I had surgery a few hours later where they took out a cyst, and part of my ovary along with the “product of conception”

My husband and I grieved, we cried we got angry but we were starting to be okay. Until now. I got a call from my OB who did the surgery and said that my pathology results had come in. He first asked me how I was feeling “fine, I just feel constipated like I felt when we went into the er” hmm could be from surgery he said. “How’s the vaginal bleeding?” He asked. “I haven’t had any. Not even spotting” I said.

That’s when he dropped the bomb. My pathology results showed NO EVIDENCE OF A PREGNANCY IN THE TISSUE! I in fact did NOT have an ectopic pregnancy and could STILL be PREGNANT! I have to wait until the weekend is over to go in for more blood work and another ultrasound. My pregnancy test have gotten darker, test line is darker than the control line a week after surgery and I just don’t know what to think 😩😭
