Is anyone else being induced because of GD but the baby isn’t measuring large?

Despite the hospital staff acting like I’m going to be birthing a megatron baby, he is growing steadily at the 50th percentile, my stomach is measuring at 50th, I’ve had no issues, keeping everything under control with diet. He is literally the most average baby and it’s looking like he will be 7lbs.

I understand why I’m being induced as a precaution but I’m worried the intervention will be for nothing if he comes out average sized or if I end up with a difficult birth for no reason.

Has anyone had a similar experience with GD?
