Is it important for children to play with dolls of their own ethnicity?
I'm currently shopping around for a rag doll for my daughter.
I've noticed that a vast majority of the rag dolls are depicted as white, second to that would be black. There are no Asian/Middle Eastern versions.
I liked the black ragdoll, which I will buy her. But I'm wondering is it important for children to play with dolls of their own ethnicity? To add my daughter is of Chinese ethnicity.
