Deodorant to stop chub rub?

Has anyone tried putting deodorant on their thighs to stop chaffing? Does it work? I buy this chaffing cream to avoid it when i wear shorts but if I can use deodorant instead I definitely will.

My friend uses this stuff from Queen V made specifically for chub rub and she says it’s amazing. I like some of their other products. I recommend checking them out

Regular deodorant never works for me, but there are deodorants specifically made for chafing. I believe the brand is called Glide, you should be able to get it at target. Much longer lasting than regular deodorant

I use some stuff I found in the baby aisle. Dr Bordeauxs. It's for diaper rash but keeps my thighs from chaffing
