So my boyfriend and I got into an argument a week ago and he basically made the statement that he’s never going to get what he wants and it’s never going to get better.

He ended up apologizing and we talked things out and everything was fine. But then I asked him what he meant, he just said that somethings that he wants he’s never going to get. So it took about a week to pry it out of him and he told me he meant that I wasn’t his type.

He said that his type was blonde bimbo sorority type girls ( I have very dark brown hair and dark eyes and I’m curvy). He said he loves me and only me and that he didn’t want to tell me because he didn’t want to hurt my feelings. I have been blonde before and I’ve thought about dying my hair blonde recently before he told me this.

I don’t personally think it’s a big deal that I’m not his type, because he isn’t my normal type either. But it still does hurt because I feel as though he’d prefer to be with someone blonde and skinny. Am I silly for being hurt? Should I dye my hair blonde since I’ve been wanting to do it before I even knew this?
