How many times does your SO talk with their mom on the phone?

My boyfriend talks with him mom on the phone 4+ times a day. He calls her when he has news, or when he has something to talk about. He doesn't ever come to me first, always his mom. We have a whole life and family established yet i feel like he's closer to his mom than me

Literally my life. I've told my husband how I feel and he kind of changed. He use to call his mom 6 times a day. On his way to work, when he is at work, lunch break, on his way home, to say good night, etc. I told him to grow up and stop being a mommy's boy because literally he acted like she was his wife. He has changed and talks to her about twice or 3 times a day. Just talk to him.

I can’t deal with mama’s boys. So annoying. Texting everyday is fine, even talking a few times a week on the phone. Family is important, I get that. But if he’s not coming to you first, I couldn’t deal with that. I’m second best for no man.

I wouldn't get in between whatever kind of relationship he has with his mom... That's his mom. It won't go well for you, or him. I totally understand why you would feel slighted tho... But I'd let that one go. I'd give him a pass on it. Only because, thank goodness, it's just his mom. Unfortunately she won't be around forever, also. Don't be threatened by her, she could NEVER replace you. But pick your battles! Let him have that annoying habit. It won't go well if you try to change it.

My SO talks to his mom a few times a week and SO do I . You never know when they are going to leave this earth or when that last phone call will be the last phone call . SO and I are both close with our moms .

He very rarely calls her. Even when he wants her to watch the kids he usually has me call her haha. I have to remind him to call her on holidays and her birthday

As a mom to a little boy, I can understand this. But not that extreme. One or twice a day is fine. Texts are fine. But I'd still want my child to be as close as possible with his wife and kids too. Just talk to him about it. Could be just a bad habit they both formed together. It is kinda sweet though. Annoyingly sweet.

Never. She texts if she can drop by if she wants to and then we say yes or no. She calls when she need computer help but that is about it..
