How to find playgroups? I want to find something locally for babies in her age group. I’m just not sure where to start or how to search for it. Help a FTM out 😉

I agree, local libraries are great! We have a number of libraries near us and go to “story-time” 2-3 times/week. Have you tried the “meetup” app? There is also an app called “Peanut”. It like Timder for moms, lol. But I have done some successful park play dates using that app.

we go to bookbug which is in the library every Monday morning. We also go to baby sensory on a Wednesday and then Baby massage and Baby Explorer on a Thursday. The classes on a Monday and Thursday are all free through NHS. I live in Scotland. I found out about them from my health visitor x

Where I live my local library has a play group for babies 0 to 24 months old once a week. It's very fun, we sing, read books, say rhyme.

Check local churches. There’s a church here that does a play group every Thursday. They take the kids (to an area where you can still see them) and they sing songs, the older kids do a craft and have a snack and the moms all sit and chat over coffee and scones lol. I’m loving it!

There is an app called Peanut that hooks you up with other moms in your area! Very similar to this one but you're talking to other moms in your city/state.

Another thought- check your local hospitals. The ones near me offer baby/mama classes and breastfeeding groups for free, even if that is not your hospital.

Also Fit4Mom is a good one if you like working out. I did this with my first and plan to with this one when it cools off.

MOPS (Mother’s of Preschoolers) is a group  I just joined at my local church. They have meetings once or twice a month but also play dates and moms night outs!
