I had an in-clinic abortion and now it hurts to have sex

I had the surgical abortion a week ago and my boyfriend and I have been having sex (I’m on birth control now) and the opening of my vagina really hurts when he inserts it. Like it feels like its being ripped open or as if I have a cut. But I don’t see any cuts or anything down there. I havent had any bleeding at all after the abortion either.

Is the sharp pain normal? Does anyone know when itll stop hurting ?
