Unwashed new (store bought) clothes directly on 15 month old?

We’re on vacation and we didn’t account for sudden cold weather and we have tickets to the zoo. My daughters clothes is summery and sadly it’s going to be 50*F (10*C)! We’re concerned her dress or shorts will be too cold for her while we’re out and about. 
Our solution that came to mind is to just go buy a warmer outfit on the way to the zoo. But we are concerned and wanted to see what people thought.

In that situation, you don’t have much option!  Do you have a onesie or something you can put under it to limit the contact with her body in case she reacts to something on it?

she’ll be fine just keep an eye on her just in case for whatever reason she does have a break out you know it’s from the clothes. but she should be fine unless she has very very sensitive skin

I think it’s disgusting to wear unwashed new clothes but in your case it’s kind of an emergency and I would do the same.

It's totally fine, nothing to worry about. I've used unwashed clothes on my 7 month old before.

We never had any issue with wearing something straight from the store. You do what you gotta do sometimes. She’ll be fine.

I never washed my boys new clothes. He’s never had an issue (but he also doesn’t have sensitive skin problems).
