I’ve found this out I have an under active thyroid has anyone conceived after being on medication for this and how long did it take???

Yes.  One cycle. Ended in mc, 4 months later I’ve conceived again, and I’m 6 weeks a long. Make sure your doctor gives you synthroid and not Levo.

What was the TSH level that your doctor deemed being too high? I had a preconception meeting and got blood work done before trying to get pregnant. They didn’t say anything about my levels but now looking back I’m wondering if my TSH is too high and I need to be on levothyroxine or synthroid. My TSH was 4.04. I would love to hear people’s experiences.

I got diagnosed with under active thyroid when I was 13. Have been on medication for 17 years was tv for our first for 10 years with some losses on the way x

Yes! Make sure you are taking the meds! Before diagnosed i had 2 m/c after being on the meds i conceived about a month after. Currently 27 weeks!

Yes, after 5 months of being on meds I conceived and I’m almost 11 weeks with a healthy bean! 
Before being diagnosed and on meds, I had 4 losses. So I’m pretty sure it was due to my thyroid issues.

My doctor said your tsh has to be 2.5 and under to conceive.  Prior to medication it was 5.62
