My 11 month old has 8 teeth and has had teeth since 5 months. He’s obviously teethed before, but without any real complaints.

He’s teething hardcore right now and I noticed his tooth on his bottom left is extremely swollen. Like badly inflamed. He’s crying ballistically (understandably so) and it looks like the tooth is on the side of the top, rather the top.

Is this normal?

He didn’t get swollen, inflamed, or red gums (barley cried) when he teethed before. So idk if something is wrong with the tooth/ gum.

I gave him Tylenol about 30 min ago.
