Do you (or did you) have a smaller baby? I keep seeing these super chunky bf babies and it makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong! My little guy is on the small side. He’s 6 mo old and 14lbs. He’s been in the 1st percentile since he was born; He was 4lbs 11oz and born at 37+3 so not a preemie, but the size of one. He’s following his curve, but now his doctor is wanting him to “chunk up” as she called it. What can I do? I know he’s getting enough bc I have tried giving expressed milk after nursing and he doesn’t want it. We also did a weighted feed at the office last week and he got over 2oz in less than 5 mins.
