Is it wrong for me to be upset that my boyfriend keeps telling everyone that we’re trying for a baby? We agreed a long time ago that we would just keep it between us. I didn’t want to have to deal with the backlash of both of our family’s opinions and when we do become pregnant, we wanted it to be a surprise. He’s told all of his family and my sister and BIL all within this last month.

If you have agreed not to say anything that I think you’re absolutely right to be annoyed. Having other people know can put on the pressure.

I don’t even get why you ask if it’s wrong that you’re upset. You both made a deal, and he choose to tell people anyway. Yes, that gives you a legit reason to be upset. That was not were you both agreed on.
I told some close people too we were gonna try to conceive. I’m more of the ventilating kind of person who likes to ask questions and just talks about stuff that’s happing in my life. I have the luck of not feeling pressure because of that, and the luck of knowing people that wouldn’t constantly ask about whether I’m pregnant yet or not.
But again: you both agreed on not telling, so not cool. If we both had an agreement on that, I’d be pissed too. I hope he will stop telling other people you’re trying to conceive now.
