Missed my pill day after sex 😬

I've been taking progestin only pills which work by stopping ovulation.

I have been taking them everyday night at 9pm and been quite good with it. We had sex 2 nights ago and then yesterday I had to come stay with my parents as my dad was quite unwell and my mum wanted me to stay. I left my pills at home🤦🏽‍♀️ and only realised at 9pm when my reminder went off on my phone.

My question isn't "Am I Pregnant?" It's 'if the pill works by stopping ovulation, would missing one pill cause ovulation to start?'

I'm obviously a bit worried as we had sex the day before I missed the pill meaning that I could possibly get pregnant 😬 not ideal whilst I have a 6 month old and whilst suffering with postnatal depression and anxiety.
