I’m leaving at 35w+6 days and I can’t bloody wait!! Hate my job 😂

I left at 35+5 nd baby came two days later I’d say to take as long as you can afford

I originally planned 38 weeks with my first but finished at 36 as I was exhausted.. he was then 13 days late so I sat around for 6 weeks 🤦🏼♀️ anyhoo i think I’ll finish at 36 weeks again this time x

1st baby worked until 38+1, planned to work until 40, water broke 38+2 and he came 38+6. 2nd baby I left at 35 weeks to have a Xmas holiday, she came at 39 weeks (scheduled) - that was WAY too much down time. This time leaving at 37+2, delivering at 39. Can’t fricking wait. Had braxton hicks through 2 hours of meetings this morning 🥵

37 weeks for me! 38 weeks with my first but this pregnancy was harder and I'm being taken in a week early.

I leave next Friday and I’ll be two days shy of 36 weeks. So that makes me 34 weeks now and I am SO done. Have been for the last 2 weeks

My mat leave starts at 38 weeks but taking a month of holidays before hand so technically starting at 34 weeks! Work is stressful and im on my feet alot so wanted to take as much time off as possible! Also have low placenta so wanted to rest as much as possible! Cannot wait!

I think it’s 34 weeks with the NHS . I need to read the policy again though. My babies are always over 41 weeks ... But I will be happy to rest before baby comes .

I planned to finish at 38 but in the end I stopped at 37 because I was so shattered and so uncomfortable. I had all these last minute “nesting” things planned but in reality I hardly achieved a thing as I was so exhausted. Then baby surprised us and showed up at week 38. There are two ways of looking at it, if you are comfortable and not too tired hold out, but if not I’d stop, you need to look after yourself a bit too because you’ll neglect your own needs once baby is born.
