Meat for 8 month old?

What meats can I give for my 8 month old and how do I prepare them for her for BLW? I want to make a chicken dinner but worried incase the chicken is a choking hazard.

I spread the chicken and give it to my little one. You really can do any meat. We have done ground beef, chicken, pork, and she loves fish!

Just shred the chicken or cut it in strips. I shred it cause my daughter can actually eat some of it like that. I’ve also given her steak (cut in strips), pork chops (shredded), burgers (strips), and even ribs (took meat off bone and shred).

Either really big hunks or really small pieces like shredded. Like a whole chicken leg or a big chunk of ham rather then strips from what I’ve read.

With my LO at that age I gave him chicken cut in little strips with applesauce to dip it in and ground beef with some spaghetti sauce. After about a month of him doing that fine I started giving him pretty much anything we were eating other than steak. Around a year I started letting him have big strips of steak that he couldn't try to swallow whole but he would gnaw little bits off
