Getting pregnant after having a baby?

Question

How long is a healthy time to wait after having a baby to try and get pregnant again? 
I am 28 and my husband is 41, he also has two kids from a previous marriage they are 11 and 12. We have a 11 week old, 2 months and 15days.
We were talking about having another baby but dont want to wait too long,  husband doesn't want to be 60 and still have kids in the house. 
When is a safe recovery time to start trying again?

For most women, it's best to wait at least 18 months between giving birth and getting pregnant again. This means your baby will be at least 1½ years old before you get pregnant with another baby. This much time gives your body time to fully recover from your last pregnancy before it's ready for your next pregnancy.

But a lot of women get pregnant within the first 9 months after giving birth. Especially when there was no scientists to tell what to do. Lol. But you also want to make sure you're not putting your health of the health of your unborn at risk. I'd say 3 months is a good place to start trying again. Best wishes doll 💗

I believe 1 year is recommended after uncomplicated vaginal birth and 18 months after a c section. That will give your body a chance to heal and regain all of the nutrient stores back from the last pregnancy and get you ready for the next. Also keep in in mind if you are breastfeeding some women lose their milk after getting pregnant again.

I got the go ahead by my midwives army 6 week checkup. My first birth was uncomplicated and I’m healthy. I got pregnant when my first was 6/7 months old. So it all depends on how your birth went. And if you had a c-section it’s recommend to wait a year to 18 months so your body can heal.
