7 months is when he started sitting up himself and staying seated for longer than a few seconds. Before that he “could” sit up but usually leaned over to get a toy or something immediately rather than just sitting.

5 months! It came out of nowhere. One day she had to have support then the next she was sitting on her own 😭

I want to say 5 months, but maybe closer to the end of 4. I know she could pull herself into a sitting position closer to the end of 5 months.
