Is this a tooth coming in?

My daughter is four and a half months, she’s been fussier that normal the past two days and wanting to chew on EVERYTHING. I always thought the two bottom front teeth came in first, but could this be a tooth?

Could be, but my son’s gums looked similar to that since around 3 months and didn’t get his first tooth (bottom middle) until 10 months. They can sometimes have teething symptoms months in advance of a tooth popping through. Stick a clean finger in her mouth and see if you feel anything.

It Could be... some babies really do start early. my daughter, on the other hand, is 17 months and still doesn’t have her front teeth 😂

Does she have her bottom teeth? Or is she having diarrhea.? Looks like her top gums could be irritated. Let her chew on a big piece of onion. It’ll help the irritation in her gums.
