Vacation (read description)

I know bed sharing isn’t safe so please no judgement. Lately our baby has super bad separation anxiety and refuses to sleep alone and won’t stay asleep unless he is in our bed. Even if we get him asleep and then move him he wakes up screaming. We’re going on vacation soon and we’re planning on taking his pack n play to sleep at night. However, we’re wondering if he is just going to try and sleep in our bed, should we save the hassle and leave it behind? Or just keep trying to get him in it on vacation? Also, where we’re staying they don’t have a baby bed already there.
