poop strike?!

my son is 8 weeks 2 days , and hasn’t pooped for the last week (he doesn’t seem to be in any discomfort), he is EBF and receives one bottle of expressed milk per day. i’ve read that it’s normal for babies to go a few days without pooping, but i am wondering when should i be concerned, when i should contact the pediatrician ?

I was told they can go up to 2 weeks. My LO has gone as long as 4days and the poop afterwords was epic! That’s always bathtime xD I would still probably call the Ped after a week

They can go for up to 2 weeks (one of the breastfeeding support workers here had a baby who went that long 🙈). Mines done 7 days, at the end of it the poo explosion was massive. As long as baby is happy, no temperature, belly isn’t tender and bloated or any other worrying signs then they’re fine. No doctor ever minds a worried mum popping in though

My son’s ped told me BF babies can go upto 8days without pooping. After that i think you should call the doctor.
