PCOS?

I’m 20 and being tested for PCOS in a few weeks and was wondering what exactly that entails? I had surgery for a 12 CM cyst earlier this year but the doc didn’t say anything about PCOS. I’m not TTC at the moment but definitely want to in the future. If any ladies are open to sharing, what was your experience like conceiving with PCOS?

Usually PCOS is confirmed with ultrasound showing cysts on the ovaries. Which we already know you have. And also having a couple of the symptoms, which is a huge list. You could only have 3 or you could have 20+. You never know. 
I was diagnosed with PCOS this year and until then i thought my symptoms were just normal.. never knowing they were actually symptoms of pcos. I have cystic ovaries, infertility (ttc for over 2 years), hirsutism, acne, explained weight gain thats difficult to lose, oily skin, menstrual irregularities, insulin resistance, prediabetic the list goes on. Its not curable but they say its treatable. The medicines to treat it make me so sick they interfere with daily life. So its a lose lose for me.
