Bleeding during sex?

So I lost my virginity this weekend and I was bleeding quite a bit during it.. is this normal? will it stop? I got quite embarrassed and a bit worried...

Yes, it is ‘normal’. Your vagina got stretched, rubbed and poked in ways and places you have never been stretched, poked or rubbed before.  This can make your hymen tear, and create micro tears in your very soft vaginal lining.
This may happen a few times, but should stop soon. The bleeding can last a day or two, but it should not be very heavy by now,
Of course, if your period was close (before or after), it may be your period starting early or restarting. This is not unusual.
There is zero to be embarrassed about. You have no control over it.
