I was told at the hospital NOT to use boudreaux's butt paste. I was too tired to ask why, or if this applied to newborns only. I have searched on google and havent found any reasons why I shouldnt use it, baby is four weeks old and we already have a tube of boudreaux's butt paste at home that ide like to use if I can.

My hospital said no diaper cream of any sort for my girl because a lot of times a rash could be a yeast infection and the creams make it worse. I was never told a thing about my son and used it exclusively over other creams.

Never heard of this either. I was just told anything with zinc oxide is fine

I never heard this. I’ve used it on my toddler before but not with my newborn. I wonder why.
