Gifts for your doctor ?

Is anyone going to get their doctor/midwife a gift after you have the baby? I plan on getting mine a gift since she has been so great im just not sure exactly what all i should get yet 😬.

My office is a bunch of nurse practitioners, so I haven’t met the doctor delivering my baby. His gift will be the 10k+ he’ll get for doing his job. 😂 However, I do plan on getting the nurses something. Even if it’s just ordering pizza for them. They all work so hard, and honestly do the most when it comes to L&D.

I'm doing baskets of snacks for the nurses. They are the ones by your side for 90% of your labor at the hospital.

I’m did Halloween themed baskets with items that are useful in workstations and small snacks. So far, I have lotion, hand sanitizers, pens, candy, popcorn, hair ties and Bobby pins, drink mixes for water bottles. I’m still adding. I posted in my VERY large bariatric group asking hospital workers and nurses what they liked. I even had a retired OBGYN reply. Here were their answers...

I made a gift basket for the L&D nurses with all kinds of goodies. I’ll take my doctor flowers at my 6wk postpartum checkup.
