Does anyone have any tips on training a German shepherd?

She is almost 3 months old. We’ve mastered ‘Sit’ but that’s about it. All of the training that I’ve done with other dogs that has worked in the past does not work for her! I’m stumped!

The biggest problem right now is biting. Number one... because it hurts. Number two... I have a one year old and am pregnant so we’ve got to get this under control! When I’m walking she likes to jump bite anywhere on my leg that she can get and also when trying to pet her all she does is twist to bite your hand. I know she’s trying to play and have tried giving her a toy I. Those moments but she has no interest in them.

I need help getting her to stop biting and to lay down. That’s the most pressing issues at the moment.

I’ve thought about signing her up for the basic training at my local Petsmart but I’ve never done that and don’t know if it’s worth the cost ($120).

She is a sweetheart and we love her so much so please! Any tips would be appreciated! TIA!
