I have the baby bullet so I will be making as many of his baby purées as I can. When I need extra or don’t have time though I will pick up jars of Gerber 😊.

I made my own baby food for my first and plan to do the same. I would cook 1 fruit and 1 vegetable on sundays and puree and then portion into ice cube trays and freeze. After a few weeks I had a good stash and just continued to cook each week to replenish. It was nice cuz I could thaw the right amount quickly and could blend flavors together when I thawed them. I bought a few Gerbers to have in the diaper bag.

With my son I had every intention of making homemade baby food (that lasted about a week 🤣). Instead, we opted for baby led weaning instead. I felt it was much easier to prep and I liked that he was exposed to different flavors, textures and got work on various skills too. He’s an awesome eater now at 2 and pretty much eats anything we put on his plate. 
To answer your question though, we preferred Happy Baby Organics. While out and about with him when he first started on solids, we used their purees in the ready to go pouches. Very convenient!
