I need some input from women who have had their nipples pierced prior to breastfeeding. I had my nipples pierced for ten years. One has been re pierced twice, and the other 3 times. I took them out once I reached 10 weeks in my pregnancy. One of my biggest fears is not being able to breastfeed. If they were only pierced once, I wouldn’t be so concerned about scar tissue, but they’ve been re pierced several times, and I’m afraid that with all of the scar tissue, it will create a difficult time, or make it impossible to breastfeed. Any thoughts, or similar experiences?
