Anyone doing the NT scan?

I’m not sure if I got the name right but it’s an ultrasound and blood test you do between 10-13 weeks. Anyone doing or has done it? What do I expect?

I got it done! I had to go in for a scan with a full bladder (it was torture 😂) they measure a space in the back of the neck and see if there’s a nasal bone. Then yo I get one vial of blood taken!

I had the NT ultrasound done yesterday, the tech did the measurements and then the doctor came in and told me that everything looked great with the measurements. I also got blood drawn so I’m waiting on those results.

I got it done today and she didn’t tell me any of the measurements but it was fairly quick and the only thing that was uncomfortable was the full bladder. In case your techs don’t tell you, eat something sweet before the appt so baby moves around.

My doctor said they just prick your finger and you put drops of blood on 4 little spots on this card, and then they give you an ultrasound and measure the babies neck and skull bone. And the nose.
