Castor oil while breastfeeding?

I would like to resume doing castor oil packs and maybe apply some castor oil to my perineum to help dissolve some scar tissue but don't know if it's safe while breastfeeding. My little guy is 3 months old and exclusively breast fed. Does anyone know if it's safe for him?
