How long were you in the hospital after your c section?

Baby born at 8:40 Tuesday and was out of the hospital by noon on Thursday. That's the shortest visit I've had.

With my first, about 36 hours. With my second we were stuck for 4 (maybe even 5) days. She was jaundiced, and they needed to keep her, and allowed me to stay in the pp room with her. If it weren’t for her issues we would have been discharged after about 36/48 hours.

With our daughter, I was in the hospital for 4 nights. We were supposed to go home on Day 4, but we didn’t make it past the weight necessary to go home (they said she had to be 5 pounds, and she was 4lbs15oz.) So we stayed an extra night. Once she was cleared that 5th day, and I got my staples out, we went home.

Admitted Wednesday with high blood pressure. Emergency c section that night due to how high it got, passed out Thursday lol, discharged on Saturday. Baby was a month early.

First 2 were 3 days last one was 6 days due to dural leak and howling they took to figure it out.

Water broke Sunday night, admitted around midnight, C-section early morning Monday due to breeched baby, and was discharged Friday morning. No complications and I’m a FTM. I couldn’t wait to get home but I was happy about the stay. It was nice having the help of nurses and for being on IV pain meds for a couple days. Btw I’m in the USA.
