Is this an ingrown nail??

If it is what could I do??
I really suck at cutting toe nails so I don’t want to make it worse

It could be potentially. My daughter has something similar and we actually were at the doctor yesterday for something unrelated and I asked her about it. She said to make sure not to leave sharp corners when cutting and try to file them down a bit and for the skin that accumulates at the edge, when you bathe her use a wash cloth and rub it off. Don’t pull or cut it off. I did this yesterday and I swear it looks 110x better. I wish I took a picture.
