Water intake 1-2 weeks prior to 3d/4d Ultrasound??

Ladies I'm scheduled to have my first 3d/4d ultrasound tomorrow. I'll be 30 weeks and 4 days. I believe I drink a good (6-8) 8oz glasses of water a day. Will this be enough to have a good picture quality tomorrow. Any mothers out there can give me insight on their own experiences???

It doesn’t matter how my you drink in the weeks leading up to it... they tell you to drink water so you have a full bladder. At 30 weeks though you won’t need a full bladder to see baby. Side note... I would suggest drinking a lot more than 6-8 glasses a day while pregnant just for general hydration.

You have to drink the suggested amount of water 1 hour before your ultrasound. It takes this long for it to accumulate in your bladder. I have made this mistake many times and drank water all the way up to the appointment and did not have a full enough bladder. They should have told you how many glasses they wanted you to drink. Can be anywhere between 2-8 depending if it is an internal or external ultrasound
