Do you believe that it’s the customers job to make sure waitresses are paid well for their job?
Stemming from the quote “if you can’t afford to tip then you can’t afford to eat out”. Do you think less effort should be put into waitresses fighting to get people to tip them appropriately and more effort should be put into holding restaurants accountable to paying their staff minimum wage and making tips just a bonus?
Bonus question: What is the tip scale you go by for a good waitress or a bad waitress? Or do you tip at all?
