Are you getting the flu shot?

I was wondering how many mamas have got or are planning on getting the flu vaccine. I have only got it one other time in my life and said I wouldn't get it again but I have been thinking more and more about getting it for baby's benefit. I need to decide by my appointment on Tuesday and I can't make a decision 😳🤪

I’ve never had a flu shot before and I normally would continue never getting one but I went ahead and did it this year because I’m hoping it will pass some immunity to the baby

This will be my 3rd time refusing the flu shot while pregnant. For personal reasons I will not get it. None of my children nor myself have gotten the flu

I asked about it either at my last OB appt, and they have them in stock, but aren't allowed to start giving them yet? So I will get my flu and Tdap shot at the same time at my next appointment in a couple of weeks.

No they were going to give it to me at my 34 week appointment but I ended up getting sick I’m 100% it’s the flu! 😭😩 day 3 and I’m so miserable

Yes! Got mine along with my TDAP. And I feel just fine. Much better than you or your baby getting the flu!

Yes I definitely will get it next week at my next appt. it’s a personal choice and I respect everyone’s decision but I had a career in pharmaceuticals for years and will always get my flu shot now that I have children, especially when pregnant.

Did this during both pregnancies, and both babies have not gotten flu (thank you, God!). Did it with current #3 pregnancy as well. 
My husband and I have always gotten fly shot and have not had any problems.

I haven’t ever gotten one in the past but my OB recommenced it. She gave me an informational packet on the possible side effects and gave me time to think about it. I wasn’t planning on doing it originally but I figured, anything I can do to ensure my baby’s health is worth any small discomfort I would have to endure 😊
