Evening Primrose Oil Capsules

I just got some evening primrose capsules and I am wondering how I should be taking them? 1 a day by mouth or more? Also I have seen posts about women inserting it vaginally...? Are people just sticking the capsules up there? Lol sorry FTM and I have no clue!
