Diagnosed since I was 11

So, when I was young I was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance, as well as having hypothyroidism. My weight fluctuates, and my periods are damn near like the elevator scene from The Shining. For a while my period had been pretty regular, and heavy like usual. This go around. It was like I was spitting the whole time. One day I had a little more, but that's about it. Went to the doctor, and while it was during this spotting time, they ran a urine test and it came back negative. Should I take another one now that my period is 9 days late, or should I trust that it was negative?
