Look into lending libraries in your area. You won’t know what works for your body type until you try them on. I had an ergo with my first baby and HATED it. I’m short and petite and it was just not for me. I switched to a Lillebaby and love it, and got a ring sling for the tiny phase. Fb marketplace is a great place to buy carriers... I got my lillebaby for $15 and my ring sling for $40

I’m a nanny and have used SO many different ones! I’m now obsessed with the lillebaby 6 in 1 I still use it to hip carry the 2yo I nanny for- I’ve used all 6 positions with it and it’s awesome!! The back support is unlike any other carrier out there! I just got a baby k’tan after watching how much my bff love and used it (and easily nursed in it!!) check Facebook marketplace! So many great deals!

Love the Tula, sometimes you can find them in your area or Facebook has that market spot, usually half off

I tried them all with my first. My favorite is the ergobaby carrier. I got that with the newborn insert.
